Release Notes:
This cd album features both the full live sets from avrocar and yellow 6 recorded live at the ochre 7 festival on november 17th 2001 at gloucester guildhall. Both acts first featured on ochre with tracks on the infrasonic waves compilation series. The avrocar track 'themes these three', a remix by tele:funken received healthy radio one airplay from john peel and also became a breezeblock bomb of the week on mary-anne hobbs late night show. The recording here of avrocar at ochre 7 is described by the group as their best live performance to date and possesses a beautiful haunting feel to it similar to that of 'closer' era joy division. Avrocar have also had released the 'cinematography' album out on earworm whilst yellow 6 have had albums out on enraptured, jonathan whiskey and more recently 'lake:desert' on ochre. This recording of yellow 6 at ochre 7 was their debut live performance.
