intro
Seedy, sexy second single from new London-based electro glamrock band, the Soho Dolls,
'Stripper' is the second single of new London-based electro glamrock band, the Soho Dolls, and follows on from 'Prince Harry', their sold out single on Poptones. The cover of 'Stripper' has a seedy red cover and shows Cinderella flashing her knickers. The title song opens with big synthesisers and big drums, both of which are very 70's flavoured. Singer Maya Hawie's vocals slide in and sexily steal the show. '1724', the B side, is slower and has a more modern electro sound, somehere between Client and Black Box Recorder, with a cool organ that is reminiscent of early Goth era Cure. 'Stripper' appears on both CD and 7". All copies of the 7" are signed, while the CDS features a promo video.
