intro
Andrew Twambley photographs Texan alternative rock group And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead at a gig at the Manchester Academy to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of their much acclaimed second album ‘Madonna’.
Texan alternative rock group And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead celebrated the twentieth anniversary of their breakthrough second album ‘Madonna’ by spending February playing a twenty-two date of Europe. Of the line-up that recorded that album, Conrad Keely (vocals, guitar, drums, piano) Jason Reece (drums, vocals, guitar) both remain, and the group now also consists of Autry Fulbright II (bass, vocals and Jamie Miller (guitar, drums), both of whom have been in And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead since the start of the decade. The recent European tour saw the band perform the whole of 'Madonna', as well as preview tracks from a new as yet-untitled album, their tenth and first since 2014's 'IX', which will be released later this year. These photographs were taken by Andrew Twambley at a show on the 6th February at the Manchester Academy, and reveal some of And Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead's on stage hyperactivity and restlessness.
