Marie Hazlewoord photographs three bands, acclaimed post punks the Rialto Burns, rock three-piece Fonetiks and electronic duo Gospel at a show at the Shipping Forecast in their native Liverpool
Young Liverpool-based post punk band the Rialto Burns are gaining increasing acclaim for their dark and incendiary music which drawn them comparisions with Depeche Mode, New Order and local heroes Echo and the Bunnymen. These photographs were taken by Marie Hazelwood for Pennyblackmusic at their regular venue of the Shipping Forecast in Liverpool on the 2nd September. There are also photographs of their two support acts, rising rock three-piece Fonetiks and Gospel, an electronic duo.
